Charlotte Smiley, least restrictive environment (LRE) aide

-8. Mrs. Smiley earned her associate of applied sciences degree in substance abuse and mental health
counseling from Wayne Community College District. She is currently enrolled at Wayne State University pursuing her bachelor of science degree in special education. Mrs. Smiley's goal is to impact the lives of students in ways that afford them the confidence and academic skills to become successful in their life pursuits. She reminds herself of her goal every morning during her morning meditation with a little saying she created, “Today I will set my students up for YES" (Years of Educational Success).
