George Crockett Academy

Margaret Thigpen has been the office assistant and office manager at George Crockett Academy for the last eleven years. Prior, she was the Head Secretary for St. Leo’s Catholic School for thirteen years. Ms. Thigpen has a total of twenty-four years.She has been a very dedicated and productive employee. Ms. Thigpen is involved in many community based activities i.e. Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas packages for needy families and outreach to all those who need it. Nevertheless,she has been an exemplary employee whose dedication knows no bounds.All of Ms. Thigpen’s children were educated at St. Leo’s Catholic School and George Crockett Academy, and all of them have furthered their education at institutions of higher learning.  She currently has a granddaughter who attends George Crockett Academy in the second grade.  We applaud Margaret for her dedication of her efforts to help those in need and for being exemplary. On top of all of this Margaret Thigpen is in the process of completing her Bachelors degree.
