Betty Avery • kindergarten
Ms. Betty A. Avery is a graduate of Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. I am on the National Dean's List, was a member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, a winner of the Amy S. McCombs - Frederick P. Currier Writing Contest, and a participant in the 2005 Academic Symposium. Marygrove College has a beautiful campus and I enjoyed studying and receiving a wonderful education there. Currently Ms. Avery is a second year teacher at George Crockett Academy in Detroit teaching kindergarten. At GCA she has taught fifth and third grades. Ms. Avery has three sisters and four brothers. Her hobbies include reading and listening to music.
